On Infection Control

Dr. Caparas and Dr. Goduco share your concern about the spread of disease and work hard to safeguard their patients and staff against infections.

When you visit our office, you will see a clean office carefully maintained by well-trained staff. Our dental staff always wear gloves, eye protection and complete protective wear during each procedure. After each patient they discard their gloves, wash their hands and put on a new pair of gloves.

We Are True Dental Specialists

Many general dentists label their practices as “Family Dentistry”. Parents are often unaware that general dentistry does not require further training and education beyond graduating from dental school to treat children and straighten teeth. Pediatric Dentistry is a specialty that requires an additional 2-3 years of residency training after graduating from dental school. Pediatric dentists are specially trained for needs of children, specifically dealing with their anxieties concerning dental visits. Dr. Caparas also specializes in caring for and treating patients with special needs.

A Calm Environment for Parents & Children

While children are being attended to by the doctors and the team, parents can stay in the reception area designed to help them relax. We have wireless internet available to make parents’ visit enjoyable and productive. We provide game consoles and other game systems for children and adults. During treatment patients are offered a selection of shows and movies to watch on monitors above each dental chair.

Digital X-rays

We utilize digital imaging and digital radiography (x-rays). This minimizes your child’s exposure to radiation up to 90% in comparison to the conventional x-ray equipment. Digital x-rays provide quality images that parents and children can view on flat screen monitors. This makes communication with the dentist more efficient and encourages your child to be more engaged in learning about his teeth.
